Erika Almstead is the Senior Vice President of MLS Operations and Outreach for the Central Virginia Regional MLS. She leads the team responsible for evaluating, delivering, and maintaining MLS Technology for more than 6,300 real estate professionals across the Richmond, the Tri-Cities region and beyond. Her portfolio includes compliance, training, onboarding, membership support, and data delivery — all with a focus on elevating the agent experience and strengthening the regional real estate ecosystem. Before stepping into the MLS world, Erika built a successful career as a paralegal, supporting corporate legal teams at several major international firms. She entered real estate at Highwoods Properties, where she provided leasing support, and later expanded her industry expertise at Virginia REALTORS before joining RAR and CVR MLS. A graduate of Berkeley College in New York, Erika lives in Western Henrico with her husband. As a new empty nester, she and her husband dream of retiring by the water in North Carolina and glamping their way across the United States.
