Whether you measure it in quarters, months, weeks, or days, we can all agree that this year has certainly had its moments. Big or small, subtle or surprising—the moments we shared this year have come together to redefine the world we all live and work in.
But real estate doesn’t stop moving forward, and neither will we.
In 2023, we continued to ask ourselves many of the questions that have driven our teams to innovate and expand our portfolio of tools and technology: What could the new generation of software for real estate look like? What should the new generation of software for real estate look like?
It's inspired us to consider the real estate experience both as it is now, and as it could be for the people invested in it every day.
We've found ways to transform how agents understand the demand and potential in their markets and go where they are most needed with our Listing Toolkit integration for Cloud CMA. We’ve made it more straightforward than ever for a brokerage to see where its strengths lie—and share those strengths with prospective clients and partners—with the new online version of Market Share for BrokerMetrics. We've combined all the marketing essentials an agent needs into one cohesive platform with the new agent marketing center.
We've even introduced the future in Lone Wolf Foundation.
The moments this year have forced everyone in real estate, no matter what they do, to consider the fact that the industry doesn’t need more software. It needs more from software. Real estate professionals don’t need more tools, the tools that professionals have should do more—and do it better.
We’ve been preparing, continuing to ask ourselves many of the questions that drive us to innovate and refine our tools and technology.
We’ve asked ourselves: What could a new generation of software for real estate look like—and perhaps more importantly, what should it look like?
2024 marks 35 years for us—and a transformative one for real estate.
A lot has changed since we started out in 1989—but our vision for the future of real estate technology remains the same. Our founders, Lorne Wallace and Des O'Kelly, dreamed of building a single platform that could improve the way real estate works: “A true end-to-end technology solution is what real estate brokerages are looking for,” as Lorne himself once put it.
We lost Lorne Wallace this year, a true visionary in real estate technology. I know many of you miss him as we do here at Lone Wolf—and together, we will continue his mission in all the years to come.
Thank you for reading, and for a phenomenal 2023. We’ve been so honored to work with all of you throughout this year, and I speak for the amazing team here at Lone Wolf when I say that I cannot wait to introduce you to what’s yet to come in 2024—and the answer to my earlier question of what real estate software should look like.
